My Husband the Song Writer

I've been busy this week creating my husband a myspace artist account. You can now visit Charles Green and listen to some of his music here. He is writing some new songs and working on a project that hopefully he is going to let me record some piano solos on and even have Chase do a solo on. We hope to have that done by this fall. I am very proud of his accomplishments. Actually he recorded this project, "The Trade" in 1996 and we have just now had it remastered and put in CD form, as cassettes have gone the way of the dinosaur practically. You can leave him comments on his page or here. Let me know what you think. My favorite one is "He Gave Me Everything."

Well, my dear blogging friend....it seems you live in a very creative home! What a great website you've developed...and after listening to each of the songs...I can't choose my favorite! They are amazing! He wrote them! He sings them! Who is in the band? Who are the background singers? What a fun project. And Chase will be on the next project! What a talented family you truly are.

I just had the most fun listening to his songs....what a talent! The lyrics are really brilliant! They are unique and memorable. And I left feeling HAPPY! Happy to know that I've traded in my "Crown Royale" and "He gave me everything!" "Someone's gonna Make It" alright....and "That IS a good thing!" I'm so glad you shared this web page with us! I'll be praisin' and hummin' all day long!

Thanks for the compliments Diane...Charles actually wrote all of the but "The Trade" and "Somebody will make it." His buddy who has the studio, Rick Wiliams, wrote those. Rick is backing him up along with some female vocalist he rounded up. None of whom have recording contracts that I know of. I thought of you when I uploaded "He Gave Me Everything" because it is a song about a prodigal.
