I thank you for your encouragement and CHG for the opportunity to share. Blogging is still rather new to me. Any pointers will be appreciated. B...Discipline...oh how I hate, even just the word! BUT, if what we do (or try to do) is done as unto the LORD.....HE always blesses, even our effort.

I don't know why some people can pop out of bed with such fresh energy...and are even motivated at the thought of sweating it out! For those of us who are not inspired by 1000 crunches each morning--it is a daily struggle. Starting small....keeping our goals manageable....and believing that each day is a NEW day is the answer! I hate traditional New Year's resolutions. They seem so restrictive. But when I think about a goal, knowing that I only have to fight for one day at a time...the task is easier. After all, we don't teach our children with an avalanch of instruction--we nurture their minds, their hearts and their souls bit by loving bit each day. Soon, they begin to understand the benefits of discipline and can respond from their belief...not someone elses' standard.

I'm on the edge of a rambling comment...so will close for now. Once again--your spiritual insight is inspiring!

DianeDiane Vierehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02859925247520578754noreply@blogger.com
